Dorman CM350007 Clutch Master Cylinder Compatible with Select Jeep Models

Clutch was getting “squishy” several months after replacing slave cylinder; all clues pointed to a failing master cylinder. I removed the old master, bolted the new one in, connected the hydraulic line, and bled the air out. When we were finished, the clutch pedal was flat against the floor. We tried different methods of bleeding it for upwards of an hour and could not gain any pressure in the pedal.I called Dorman figuring it was a faulty master and they would issue an RMA and send out a replacement part. Before they would do that, they wanted me to contact one of the master technicians they have on staff. I spoke with a mechanic named Marty, and he recommended I reverse bleed the hydraulic line. Instead of forcing fluid through the system top down, use a large syringe and force air out the top of the system from the bottom.Reverse bleeding did the trick, and the clutch is working like new.

Good fit, just make sure you pay attention to how the hydraulic line connects up and don’t lose the press in pin!!!
