Catalytic Converter Protector Shield Defender Aluminum Replacement for Prius 2010 2011 2012 2013 2014 2015 – Catalytic Converter Anti Theft

Though it’s made of aluminum, it’s relatively strong and would take a while for thieves to cut away at it.Had my local mechanic recently install it and it took approximately an hour; I was able to see it after installation and it seemed to fit well; so far no rattle found etc. it does come with 3 plastic round spacers for the bottom three holes of the main shield. Installing involves removing the central heat shield near the front and drilling 3 holes for the bottom holes on the main shield and 4 holes for the back rectangular shield. It also comes with anti-rattle tape for the main shields front. Instructions were provided.I thought it didn’t come with the instructions and they were quick to send me an electronic file of it. There are cheaper ones but you probably want to stay away from them as they might skimp on anti-rattle parts and there are more popular ones like Miller and Cat but they might be more expensive and an overkill.Good luck.
