I’ve dealt with lots of v-bands in our fab shop, and these are a 4 out of 5 in features, but with the price they are 5 out of 5. The thing that stands out on these is the band is wider, making it easier to weld on with more strength against warping. It also means you can pretty much TIG weld them in place with the band on, so you can ensure alignment. If it’s post turbo you can just use SolarFlux, if it’s pre-turbo then back purge with Argon.The male/female lip has good tolerance. (Consider that tolerances can change as the SS heats up, and SS changes size a lot with heat)The only thing missing on these is they are not “quick disconnect” style clamps. Usually those are more money so I’m not complaining. This will do just fine for 99% of exhaust joints, you don’t always need the quick disconnect, and they can be bulkier too.
